This concept is somewhat being discussed around the spanking community, as to what people think of being called a spanko.
I believe it would be wonderful if another word could be thought of, as spanko is too easily connected to other negative words like sicko, or psycho.

What does SPANKSTER rhyme with:
Hipster: a really neat name for a trendy type individual, and someone who is a hipster is thought of nicely, not negatively.
Gangster: bad connotations originally, but big name gangsters were glorified at one time, and we now have gangsta music and quotes (some good, some bad)
kibitzer, someone outside of the normal a bit (or a lot), but inherently a fun person.
Prankster: someone who plays hopefully funny pranks, and if not funny, then they are spanked.
Spankster has a connotation of fun, a little bit outside of normal, but inherently a fun activity bringing a couple closer together in love. (at least it has this connotation to me.)
Almost every spanker (and I say almost, NOT ALL) we have met have been people who play for fun! The blogs I read are only those that involve willing consensual safe play, even though it may be a disciplinary spanking. Inherently, it is a spanking with love, between equals!!!
ASIDE:The phrasing of anal sex has moved into using the word PEGGING, removing the name ANAL from the activity. Anyone who is involved in any way with kink, knows that pegging means anal sex. tumblrs exist with names like pegging with a smile, peg me gently, pegmypleasure, pegtastic, pegging pleasures, etc.... all connotating a fun activity.
Spanking can be brutal BDSM, and Pegging can be brutal BDSM, but they do not have to be. So many blogs exist with nice friendly everyday titles, and profess the authors love of being spanked, or spanking someone. (If we think about it, most are written by the spankee, who loves the activity)
So, I vote for spankster
I would love any of my readers to give their opinion, but most come to this blog solely for the pictures.
