In reading the news, it finally dawned on me that this is V-E Day.
Definitely a time for the world to be celebrating. However big the worries of today are, they were far worse back then.
Do what you can to help people, help your neighbor, send kind thoughts.

As we carry on in lock-down, , or at least social distancing, it might be a good day to read about World War Two, and how we defeated Fascism (Nazi Germany, Italy), and militarism (Japan).
Berlin (Germany) has declared today a holiday, in celebration of liberation from Nazism. Do remember that although a few Germans opposed Hitler, most were wildly enthusiastic for him.
