Have not been in touch in a while been working way to many hours which leaves little time for anything else.
Still read your blogs regularly and in one you talked about lifestyles. Asked readers to send theirs in for publication and comparison.
Have been married to my current wife 6 years and together for 9. We have a great relationship and although not always into the same things find a way to work it out.
We are completely open with each other and discuss everything, many say it we really do. Little by little all of our likes, dislikes, kinks and desires have come out and been discussed.
When I told her of my life long love of spanking she was a little taken aback and stated firmly she had no interest in being spanked. I explained my interest was in being spanked not doing the spanking.
Much discussion followed and slowly she came around and agreed to try it but was afraid of hurting me. After receiving advice from Red and Strict Julie convinced her yes spanking hurt but done properly do not cause lasting harm which was her real concern.
Now a bit over a year later I receive regular spankings some asked for some initiated by her. They have become harder and longer as time has gone on and I am very satisfied. We have accumulated a collection of a dozen implements all used at different times.
A Saturday night consists of dinner maybe a little TV then I am told to strip and retrieve 2 or 3 implements, sometimes of my choosing sometimes hers, and assume the position. Which means face down on the bed with pillows raising my butt.

A little warm up with her hand before implements are used, paddle, tawse, cane, different leathers and just recently a crop. She is making sure my butt is quite red and hot before she stops and once in a while will take a picture to show me.

I immediately thank her for spanking me and kiss and cuddle for a few minutes before the love making starts.
Other times will consist of a quick drop of the pants in the kitchen for a dose of the wooden spoon. In the living room she will produce a cane for a few quick swats. Even caught me in the garage one time and had me bend over the workbenches after handing her my belt.
