On this day, the second day after World War Two started, it is time to reflect on life just a little.
Countries are our enemy, then our friend, and sometimes our enemy again, but this is mostly the governments People are people everywhere in the world.
A little reminder is the Soviet Invasion of Poland in 1939. It was a Soviet military operation that started without a formal declaration of war on September 17, 1939. It was during the early stages of World War Two (before the USA joined the war on December 7, 1941) Sixteen days after Nazi Germany invaded Poland from the West, the Soviet Union invaded from the east.
The two countries divided Poland as conquerors.
I readily admit that any fanaticism ( religious, or otherwise) is a difficult thing. to overcome, and is now, as it always has been throughout time.
People who act in the name of God have always been a problem. Let God solve things.
The most poignant saying I have EVER read, is on the Korean war monument in Washington DC.

We need to be kind to people, everywhere in the world.
We need to be kind to people who have a different political point of view than our own.
We need to smile everyday,
hoping our friendliness can overwhelm differences of opinions.
