the friend definitley looks nervous in the above two gifs

and then it was probably her turn to be switched, as they did each obtain and prepare at least one switch EACH. However, it looks uncertain, as the friend is no where in sight in the last gif.
When outdoors on hikes, I have picked up or broken off a switch from a tree when we have been in more remote areas of the hike.
(Un)fortunately, Cindy has used it only lightly, and at times worried if someone might come along.
I imagine we will have to start hiking in much more remote areas.
When at home, a cane replaces the need to cut a switch.
