Some days this is how it goes

Recently, I have had two on the spot corrections in the kitchen.
This almost seems what Cindy is saying.
Not with a paddle, but with the kitchen wooden food stirrer, Cindy's implement of choice.
Both times were longer than what they used to be, ending up with me involuntarily on tippy toes, somehow subconsciously thinking this would lessen the effect. ( Hint: it doesn't)
